This is winter 2019 into spring 2020. The heat of the Corona 2019 pandemic. Everything is changing day to day, and hour to hour. I am adding this first to_keep track of interesting articles and links so I can quickly find them again, and second, to track changes over time.
First what are we talking about…. Corona, Corona-19, Covid-19, cov19, SARS-CoV-2? Corona is a family of viruses. 4 of about 8 known at this time infect humans. This virus mostly doesn’t use a sequence that normally infects humans, but is most closely related to the SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) another virus that did affect humans, and become a pandemic threat in 2001. It did end up mostly getting contained to the point of not causing a worldwide shutdown.
